Class 14 - Cereals
Conditions
Competitors may enter one or more classes but each class entered must be one nominated field minimum of five acres.
Assessment
The judge will award marks for each of the following aspects:-
- Density and uniformity of the crop.
- Disease control.
- Weed control
- Potential yield of the crop
- Inputs (chemicals/fertiliser) used related to potential yield. Soil type, previous cropping and use of organic manure (F.Y.M/slurry) will be taken into account.
